In 2008 a supercomputer HPC HP Enigma X000 (HP Hewlett-Packard Cluster Platform 3000 BL460c, Xeon 5345 2.33GHz, Infiniband) was launched at VyatSU.
VyatSU Center for Supercomputing technologies and systems has been working to:
- implement projects on high-precision mathematical modeling of complex objects and processes, system analysis and forecasting of complex multivariable systems;
- train and retrain engineers and scientists in design and operation of computer systems of new generation;
- use modern innovative information and computer technologies to solve fundamental, applied and industrial problems in priority areas of science, technics and RF technology.
